Today we worked on writing thesis statements for the protagonist in the short story Raymond's Run. The thesis is something that should be seen throughout the entire text and be supported by evidence.

OUR CO-CREATED THESIS STATEMENT:
Squeaky, the protagonist in the short story Raymond's Run by Toni Cade Bambara, is determined to win races, protect her brother Raymond, and uphold her reputation.
