In Language Arts, students started to read their Chapter 19 out loud to the class. What a joy to hear how all students took a different angle on what happens next for Tao and Ram. We jigsawed chapter 5 in the Social Studies text focusing on the essential question: Why do historians classify ancient Sumer as a civilization? Today, small groups taught their characteristic of a civilization to the rest of the class.
