Continuing with our realistic fiction pieces, we took part in a writing "boot camp." We put our protagonist in a scene (the lunchroom at school, coming home after school) and we wrote! What does your character do in that scene? Where do they eat lunch? Who do they talk to? Or not??

Daylight Hours Table for Homework (Making Sense Questions)

Hi 6th graders and families.  A student made me aware that Lesson 7.2 was the lesson that many of you received a copy from the sub that was missing the back (the daylight hours data).  Below is the table of hours of daylight for the 6 cities we've been looking at.  We've been exploring latitude, temperature, solar angle and Hemispheres and how all these things work together to create weather.




We worked really hard on creating character charts on the internal and external traits of of our protagonist for our realistic fiction stories. Please see above for an example.
