You may also bring the video in on a flashdrive. We are preparing for a Socratic Seminar to wrap up our Greece/Rome unit. The Socratic Seminar will be held on Thursday.

Today in ELA we worked on taking notes in an organized fashion and by Friday we would like students to have their commercial scripts mostly written. We also took the school climate survey and started Social Studies presentations.

Our Teen Activist Commercial conversation started today in ELA. Ms Phelps from the LMC demonstrated how to use EasyBib so our bibliographies will be flawless. We had a work day in Social Studies for Greece/Rome project, after reminding students that the goal in your project is to compare/contrast Greece/Rome using your given subtopic.

Today in ELA we had the difficult chore of rewriting our claim/thesis which included reasons. Students were asked to rewrite them three different ways. It is extremely hard work to take a piece of writing and revise it. In Social Studies, students had time to work on their Greece/Rome project and were given a planning sheet/timeline to keep them on track (see above).
