A few other reminders while at the School Forest Challenge Course which is TOMORROW......
- Participants need to bring a signed Adventure Programs Cautionary Statement with them to the course, facilitators will collect these at the beginning of the day- PARENTS- You already filled these out!
- There is no water available at the School Forest, please have participants bring a full water bottle and extra water just in case
- All trash must be taken out of the forest back to school, so please plan accordingly
- Shoes and socks are required in the Forest, no sandals or flip flops please
- Participants are welcome to bring sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, etc. but we avoid using electronics, especially at height

Science Test
Tomorrow is the last science test for the Weather unit and covers Lessons 7 & 8. As we approach 7th grade I give kids a little more responsibility and accountability when it comes to studying. This test will NOT be open notes, nor will test corrections be an option Q4 - just because I know not all teachers allow them, so I want kids prepared for all scenarios. 6th graders, make sure you review!!!
Today in ELA, we started our Reading MAP test and will continue tomorrow. If students do not finish tomorrow, they will have extra time to complete their test at a future date. In Social Studies, we are getting close to finishing our Japan Unit.

Daylight Hours Table for Homework (Making Sense Questions)
Hi 6th graders and families. A student made me aware that Lesson 7.2 was the lesson that many of you received a copy from the sub that was missing the back (the daylight hours data). Below is the table of hours of daylight for the 6 cities we've been looking at. We've been exploring latitude, temperature, solar angle and Hemispheres and how all these things work together to create weather.
